Job Description Summary Job Description Job Summary The Manager of Clinical and Community Partnerships will manage the community offices in Greenwich and Stamford 401 Shippan Avenue and will provide psychotherapy to a caseload of children and families. The Manager will represent CGC within the community as an expert in childrens mental health, a systems advocate for victims and witnesses of crimes and an articulate spokesperson for the Agencys high quality services. Role And Responsibilities Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key community partners, e.g., schools, public and private agencies, allied professionals and other referral sources, demonstrated through an increase in volume of referrals Maintain positions on interagency teams in order to increase mental health awareness within the four communities CGC serves Act as the Child Advocacy Centers Systems Advocate for victims and theirfamilies by participating the CACs Multidisciplinary Team, ensuring that clinicians who are providing mental health services for CACinvolved families meet NCAs training standards, and collaborating with the Director of Victim Services to address any unmet mental health needs Ensure timely response to familycommunity requests for services, consultation or presentations in the community Identify, develop and provide community presentations, workshops or mental health awareness activities that respond to needs identified by partner agencies and promote the Agencys expertise as mental health provider Provide program statistics and outcome data for Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan as requested to current and potential funders, highlighting the scope and outcomes of the Agencys clinical work As needed, provide reflective and administrative supervision to staff supervisees to promote clinical expertise and ensure proper and timely completion of all clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state and Medicaid requirements or those required by funders Fifty percent of the Managers time will be devoted to providing psychotherapy individual, family and group therapy modalities for children, adolescents and their families, including those who are victims andor witnesses of crime, utilizing evidenced based practices, such as TFCBT, ARC, CFTSI, whenever appropriate Conduct comprehensive child and family assessments including diagnostic and clinical formulations Participate in interdisciplinary teamtreatment planning meetings, program meetings, inservice training and staff development initiatives Utilize the agencys electronic health record EHR keeping systems in accordance with agency, state and Medicaid requirements Qualifications Required Skills and Education Masters degree in clinical social work or community counseling LCSW, LPC, LMFT required Psy.D or PhD in psychology Independent licensure in Connecticut or another state and able to become independently licensed in Connecticut Two to five years postdegree experience providing clinical assessments, individual, family andor group psychotherapy with children, adolescents and families with complex mental health andor substance abuse disorders in an outpatient, community based setting Ability to complete clinical assessments and other documentation in English fluency in Spanish a plus Skill and comfort developing relationships with key community constituents and referral sources in order to advocate for the mental health needs of child victims and their families and collaborate to effectively and efficiently meet those needs Strong publicspeaking skills familiarity with PowerPoint, Google Slides and other presentation platforms Computer skills required familiarity with electronic health record systems a plus Crosscultural competence and sensitivity required to succeed in agency committed to working with a diverse patient population and to continuing to build staff diversity EOE Valid drivers license, auto insurance and use of personal car Physical RequirementsWork Environment Hours will vary our schedules range MondayFriday from 7am7pm and Saturdays. Minimal physical effort. Must be able to operate computer and telephone continuously. Regular regional travel as necessary.
