As an Estates Surveyor, youll be involved in a wide variety of surveying work, providing professional property expertise across all aspects of our business. Applying your skills as a surveyor, youll work collaboratively within project teams helping to deliver a nationwide 5.4 billion programme of capital flood defence work that will protect 336,000 properties. Youll be involved at all stages of project delivery from feasibility through to completion. Your expertise will also be applied to the management of a diverse land and property portfolio, including commercial and rural property management, valuation and dealing with landlord and tenant issues. As a confident negotiator, youll represent our interests with a broad customer and client base. With an uptodate knowledge of current legislation and best practice, youll provide strong technical guidance and support to other members of your team. Well also support you to develop both personally and professionally. Responding to incidents is an important part of what we do, and with this in mind youll have an incident role and should be ready to make yourself available to respond or provide business continuity support.
